No letter is dated fully however, there is a grid during the book's crisis point (when Sir James arrives and Frederica writes her morning letter to Reginald and the scenes and letters that ensue, and when Reginald learns the truth and confronts Lady Susan) the characters refer to specific days which cohere with the larger movements of the story.
